“What do you’ve got for breakfast?” folks often ask me. “Chocolate!” I reply, although not the entire time because I’ve not too long ago found that life is about steadiness and not one lengthy string of hedonistic moments. Sometimes I give the same reply for many of my meals and snacks.
To those who have not yet joined The Uncooked Chocolate Revolution, this reply could appear unhealthy. They might suppose I am obese or addicted to sugar. But, I am wholesome within the extreme. I am a normal weight, and haven’t eaten refined sugar in over a decade. This is because the chocolate I eat is uncooked, vegan, free from refined sugar, organic, loaded with superfoods (chocolate being the main one!), and totally life-affirming.
Uncooked cacao comprises hundreds of chemicals, is high in magnesium, iron, chromium, tryptophan and antioxidants. It contains PEA, the love chemical. The only other food to include PEA in any vital amount is algae, so chocolate and algae go fantastically together. Chocolate incorporates anandamide, the bliss molecule. Ananda is the Sanskrit word for “bliss”. Oh, and it’s so full of antioxidants, it is off the ORAC charts. It actually is.
Cooked chocolate incorporates rancid oils which do not contribute to ecstatic living. It can be made with cruel (calf-kiling) dairy, mass of refined sugar, and different elements that don’t contribute to good health.
Raw chocolate bars, on the other hand, mix unadultarated purity, a creamy chocolate taste, and often the advantages of nutrient-dense superfoods. Uncooked chocolate seems to be and feels similar to standard chocolate, and most importantly melts in the mouth in the same way. Uncooked chocolate is my concept of heaven on earth. Is it yours?
What in regards to the caffeine?
Cacao is a poor source of caffeine. A typical pattern of cacao nibs or cacao beans will yield anyplace from zero caffeine to 1,000 parts per million of caffeine (less than 1/twentieth of the caffeine current in espresso).
In February 2008, Dr Gabriel Cousens discovered in medical checks on healthy people who cacao does not elevate blood sugar in the identical manner as a caffeine containing meals or beverage. Actually, Dr Cousens discovered that cacao has less of an effect on blood sugar than nearly every other food.
Slave free
“Raw Britannia, Britannia’s uncooked sweets saves, Britons by no means once more need eat chocolate from slaves.” That’s my little song that highlights the want I have for all chocolate to turn into slave free. Although there is not any guarantee that each one uncooked chocolate is slave free, most of it is because the general public who produce it need to present moral goods. “Honest Trade” is not the one proof that chocolate is slave free. There’s a group called The Fairtrade Federation, which is also slave free, and ensures good monetary exchanges for the farmers. This endorsement by no means goes on retail merchandise, though, it’s a retail only group.
I take the energetic properties of food very seriously. In case you eat meals grown with the slave vibe (like chocolate slaves and even animals in captivity slaves) then you’ll take on that vibe and can really feel like a slave in your life. Free your self and the planet by only selecting slave-free chocolate. There is not any excuse to eat chocolate, to achieve such mouthwatering pleasure on the expense of youngsters and adults forced to reap the beans for you. Whenever you purchase raw or cooked chocolate, its history needs to be traceable should you converse to the manufacturer.
Uncooked chocolate should enhance the quality of life for individuals who grow it, as well as those who eat it.
The uncooked chocolate revolution
All of it kicked off in Might 2003. I used to be in Maui with my good pal David Wolfe, adding uncooked cacao beans to our smoothies. Cacao beans are the nut of the chocolate tree that every one chocolate is made from. Then I just ate a cacao bean. My life changed in that moment. Life since has been pure magic. I realised the cacao gods had chosen her as a messenger to deliver real chocolate into the consciousness of the western world. What a blessing. David and I have been compelled to put in writing Naked Chocolate in 2005, the world’s solely e book devoted to raw chocolate and its superfood friends.
Cacao (the true word for chocolate) makes different foods which might be eaten with it more usable by the body. Meals similar to maca, goji berries, mesquite, lucuma, purple corn and hemp seeds, for instance, become “price” a lot extra to your body.
Since beginning The Uncooked Chocolate Revolution I’ve noticed that after people style raw chocolate their lives are changed for ever. Uncooked chocolate alters your consciousness immediately. It opens up channels inside you to permit energy and information in at a lightning speed. It allows you to reside fully in your flow. It causes huge shifts in all elements of your life. It means that you can meet your divine self. It causes you to dwell your highest truth. It helps you heal the planet as well as your body.
