    Indonesian Curry (Kare Ayam/Kepiting) (up to 3-4 Servings) Kare (Indonesian Curry) Photo
    8cups Water
    500gr     Fat Beef / Chicken or 1Kg Crab (Ayam / Daging / Kepiting)
    14gr     Garlic (Bawang Putih)
    14gr     Shallot (Bawang Merah)
    4gr     Red Chilli (Cabe Besar)
    5gr     Lemon Grass (Sereh)
    3gr     Ginger (Jahe)
    5gr     Turmeric (Kunir)
    3gr     Galangal (Laos)
    1gr     Coriander (Ketumbar)
    1gr     Pepper (Merica)
    4gr     Candlenut (Kemiri)
    2cups Coconut Milk
    Salt

    Shortcut Direction:
    Grind all the spices above, then fry a few seconds.
    Boil 500gr beef/chicken (or 1Kg Crab) -can be added with tofu- with 8 cups water until tender (until 3cups water remain in the pan). Add the ‘Fried-Grinded-Spices’ above, re-boil with 2 cups of Coconut Milk, stir well until medium-thickened over low heat.

    Cara Memasak:

    Cuci bersih semua bumbu dan giling / blender (kecuali santan dan air), kemudian tumis dengan sedikit minyak goreng, sisihkan. Sementara itu, rebus 400g daging sapi/ayam/kepiting (dapat ditambahkan dengan tahu) dengan air 8 gelas. Panaskan dengan api sedang hingga daging matang dan empuk (kurang lebih air rebusan tinggal setengahnya). Setelah itu tambahkan bumbu yang tadi telah ditumis dan 2 gelas santan (santan dapat dikurangi sesuai selera). Panaskan dengan api kecil hingga bumbu mengental dan berwarna kuning keemasan.
